Mike Rausch

President

Mike joined Crimeline as President of the company in February of 2006. Prior to joining Crimeline, Mike was one of the most successful television news managers in the country. Over the course of his twenty-eight-year broadcast career, Mike took four television news operations to number one ratings status and garnered multiple state, regional and national journalism awards. Mike’s background in broadcast journalism lends itself to the dynamic, interactive and video intensive strategy Crimeline is taking with e-learning.

As a news director and reporter, Mike has taken an innovative approach to broadcast journalism, embracing new technologies and techniques to improve the quality and content of television news.

During the past eighteen years, Rausch worked at numerous television stations across the country in the role of news director. He served as news director at WOKR-TV Rochester, New York, WHAS-TV Louisville, Kentucky, KGW-TV Portland, Oregon, WFTV-TV Orlando, Florida, Zatso Inc., San Francisco, California as well as V.P. Operations Multivision Inc., Walnut Creek, California and KATU-TV Portland, Oregon. Prior to moving into news management positions, Mike worked as a reporter at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana, WTVF-TV Nashville, Tennessee and held Executive Producer roles at KARK-TV Little Rock, Arkansas and WIVB-TV in Buffalo, New York.
