Credit Card Fraud and Financial Crime Expert

David is a retired US Postal Inspector and renowned expert on credit card fraud, bank fraud and financial crime. He has worked at Discover Card since 1998 where he manages Field Investigations and supervises Regional Field Investigators and Organized Crime Analysts.

David has extensive law enforcement experience as a detective and investigator in the areas of financial crime, homicide and official misconduct. While in Illinois law enforcement he server as a commander, team leader, investigator and major crime task force member at the state, county and local levels. His work included positions with the Illinois State Attorney’s General Office, the Lake Beach Police Department and Lake County. David retired on medical disability from law enforcement after being shot in the line of duty in 1991.

Financial Crime and Criminal Investigation Instructor

David is a highly respected instructor on financial crime and criminal investigation. He has developed and conducted college level courses on bank and credit card fraud. He has instructed at Columbia College, College of Lake County and Northwestern University. David also performs as an advisor for the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
